Julian is on the way to Africa!!

I'm making an exciting trip to Ethiopia with Mrs. Barbra King and her sister! Here I am in the Indianapolis Airport, waiting for my flight out of the country. Follow me to see where I go and what I do along the way.

My first excursion: San Francisco!

I'm SO excited. I just found out that I'm going to be traveling with Autumn A. to San Francisco, California! I can only imagine all the cool things I'm going to do and see along the way. Keep watching for updates and photos of my special journey.

Welcome to my life!

Let me tell you a little about myself. First off, take a good look at me. If you haven’t noticed —I’m a parrot. Not only am I a parrot, but I’m a traveling parrot. I’m always wearing a smile, I have bright eyes for seeing all you want to show me, and I’m beautifully and brightly colored. At one time I lived a happy, but somewhat sheltered, life at a home in Champaign, IL.

Joyfully, that all changed when I learned about the Joy in Learning co-op! This year, I will get to travel to all of your houses and share adventures with you and your family. And, I want you to get in on the fun! Are you ready? Let's go!

Each student will have the opportunity to have me visit his or her home for a week. Earning your tickets will increase your chances to host me! When I visit, please write about the adventures we have, and take pictures to show to everyone. At the end of the year, we will have a complete story of my life with the JiL co-op. What an adventure! I can't wait!
